Just 10 minutes from MELIA’S VILLA is Kiato. Central market with many options for food, swimming and nightlife.
Xylokastro is famous for its enchanting beaches. Some of them are the beach of Pefkia which took its name from the pine forest located next to the sea, as well as Derveni and Sykia which are among the best summer destinations and are only 15 minutes away from the villa.
Another good choice is Loutraki which, apart from the thermal baths, has a very large and well-organized beach 3.5 km long that attracts many bathers. In addition to swimming, you can do water sports, enjoy the beautiful sunset and the more adventurous can visit the famous casino of the country which is only 20 minutes away from MELIA’S VILLA.
Additionally you can visit the city of Nafplio which is only 1 hour away from MELIA’S VILLA. Nafplio is a picturesque city with a great historical and cultural tradition built at the foothills of two fortresses, Palamidi and Akronafplia. The character of the city with its great tradition and history of centuries can travel us to a neoclassical environment of the 19th century. Nafplio combines a set of images that fascinate visitors. Some of the beaches we suggest are Karathona, Arvanitia and the picturesque Tolo.
